EPOS-ERIC is a distributed research infrastructure for data and facilities related to studies of the solid Earth. It is genuinely pan-European, with presently 18 member countries and Sweden on the track to join. Participation comes with the commitment to contribute to the effort, but also with opportunities to cooperate in solid Earth science on an European level that would not be possible otherwise. EPOS-Sweden (EPOS-SE) is the consortium that represents the Swedish commitments and interests in EPOS. Currently, it consists of seven research organizations but it is open for expansion.
We have collected information about EPOS and the Swedish contribution to EPOS on these pages. The website of EPOS-ERIC presents comprehensive information about this European research infrastructure, its purpose, design and implementation. If you want to know more, feel free to contact us.
